4/08/09 Some changes to the magazine… After the production of #4, the Fall/Winter 2009 issue (which will be professionally printed) The Stray Branch will no longer offer free print copies to its contributors. However they will still receive a pdf file version of the issue they appear in. I hate to do this but to produce a magazine in any fashion is costly and due to the lack of sales and response to issue #3 I cannot A lot of time and effort goes into producing a magazine whether it is distributed freely or not. There is also always some type of cost involved. I would like to be able to continue to offer free print copies to the contributors of The Stray Branch since without them there could be no issues of the mag but for now it is not in the budget but it is important for me to be able to provide a print version of each issue. If you like to help support The Stray Branch you can do so by purchasing copies of The Stray Branch issue or by making a donation to The Stray Branch website.
If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to email me at thestraybranchlitmag@yahoo.com and Just so there’s no confusion, all contributors for issue #4 will still receive a free copy but this is the last one I can do. Thank you, The Stray Branch, Founder/Editor Debbie Berk
