9/1/09 The last half of contributor copies for issue #4 have been mailed were mailed out today so as I as of now all copies have been sent out to contributors. 

8/24/09 Issue #4 is now available and links are up.  I am still in the process of getting contributor copies mailed out.  I know you all are anxious to get yours as am I just as anxious to get them mailed out to you.  I hope to have them all mailed out by the end of this week. 

8/15/09 Issue #4, the Fall/Winter 2009 edition is now available...leaked through Amazon.com, however I'm still waiting for my shipment of the last few contributor copies so I can get them mailed out within the next couple of weeks.  Once contributor copies have been mailed the issue image, info and link will be placed here on the front page.  Should contributors of issue #4 have any guestions please don't hesitate to email me.  I assure you that you will receive your copy.  

 8/01/09 The Stray Branch is currently not accepting submissions and will not resume reading until October so if you were to submit anything now it will not be read until then.  All submissions that have been sent by the July 31st deadline have been read and responded to. 

6/11/09  Submissions for issue 4 and 5 are now closed.  If you submit now the earliest you could be published is in the Fall/Winter issue #6.  Reminder, at the end of July The Stray Branch takes a break from reading submissions until October.

Some changes to the magazine…

After the production of #4, the Fall/Winter 2009 issue (which will be professionally printed) The Stray Branch will no longer offer free print copies to its contributors due to cost.  However they will still receive a pdf file version of the issue they appear in and will be able to purchase a print copies at a discounted rate.
